چکیده

In this paper, following Nachman’s idea [14] and Haberman and Tataru’s idea [9], we reconstruct C conductivity γ or Lipchitz conductivity γ with small enough value of |∇logγ| in a Lipschitz domain Ω from the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map Λγ . In the appendix the authors and R. M. Brown recover the gradient of a C-conductivity at the boundary of a Lipschitz domain from the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map Λγ . MR Subject Classification: 35R30.

Reconstruction of Less Regular Conductivities in the Plane

We study the inverse conductivity problem of how to reconstruct an isotropic electrical conductivity distribution γ in an object from static electrical measurements on the boundary of the object. We give an exact reconstruction algorithm for the conductivity γ ∈ C(Ω) in the plane domain Ω from the associated Dirichlet to Neumann map on ∂Ω. Hence we improve earlier reconstruction results. The me...

Boundary Determination of Conductivities and Riemannian Metrics via Local Dirichlet-to-Neumann Operator

We consider the inverse problem to identify an anisotropic conductivity from the Dirichlet-to-Neumann (DtN) map. We first find an explicit reconstruction of the boundary value of less regular anisotropic (transversally isotropic) conductivities and their derivatives. Based on the reconstruction formula, we prove Hölder stability, up to isometry, of the inverse problem using a local DtN map.

The Calderón Problem with Partial Data in Two Dimensions

We consider the problem of determining a complex-valued potential q in a bounded two-dimensional domain from the Cauchy data measured on an arbitrary open subset of the boundary for the associated Schrödinger equation Δ+q. A motivation comes from the classical inverse problem of electrical impedance tomography. In this inverse problem one attempts to determine the electrical conductivity of a b...

A new direct method for reconstructing isotropic conductivities in the plane.

In this paper we describe a new, direct and mathematically exact method for the reconstruction of the isotropic conductivity in a plane body from static electric measurements on the boundary of the body. The method is inspired by a uniqueness proof for the inverse conductivity problem due to Brown-Uhlmann and covers conductivities having essentially one derivative. Moreover, we give a numerical...

Direct Reconstructions of Conductivities from Boundary Measurements

The problem of reconstructing an unknown electric conductivity from boundary measurements has applications in medical imaging, geophysics, and nondestructive testing. A. Nachman [Ann. of Math. 143 (1996)] proved global uniqueness for the 2-D inverse conductivity problem using a constructive method of proof. Based on this proof, Siltanen, Mueller and Isaacson [Inverse Problems 16 (2000), pp.681-...
